A twisted ankle on an uneven Patna road or a sudden knee twist during cricket, football or badminton often stretches or tears a ligament. Many people rest for a week until swelling drops and walk again, only to find the ankle keeps rolling or the knee feels unstable on stairs and turns.
At MuvAgain we treat fresh grade 1 and 2 sprains without surgery, prepare knees before ACL surgery ('prehab'), and guide week-by-week recovery after ACL or meniscus reconstruction. Structured rehabilitation restores joint stability, balance reflexes and muscle strength so the ligament heals properly.

Common symptoms
- Swelling, bruising and pain around the ankle or knee after a twist
- Feeling that the ankle 'rolls' easily or the knee 'gives way'
- Pain when turning sharply, walking on uneven ground or going downstairs
- Stiffness after wearing a crepe bandage, brace or plaster cast
- Loss of single-leg balance and calf or thigh strength
Common causes
- Lateral ankle ligament sprain from stepping in a pothole or awkward landing
- Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) or medial collateral ligament (MCL) injury
- Meniscus tear in the knee
- Returning to sport or brisk walking without rebuilding balance after an old sprain
- Weak calf, peroneal, quadriceps and glute muscles
How we help with ACL, ligament & ankle sprains

- 2.Swelling and pain control with electrotherapy, compression advice and kinesio taping
- 3.Joint mobilisation and IASTM once acute tenderness settles

Frequently asked questions
Should I just wear an anklet or knee cap instead of doing physiotherapy?
A brace or crepe bandage supports the joint early on, but it cannot rebuild torn balance reflexes or weak muscles. Without rehab, repeat sprains are very common.
Do you treat both non-surgical ACL injuries and post-ACL surgery patients?
Yes. Partial ligament sprains often recover well with structured strengthening and balance training, and after ACL reconstruction we follow your surgeon's week-by-week graft protocol.
How soon after twisting my ankle can I visit?
Within a few days, as soon as fracture is ruled out if you cannot bear weight. Early swelling control and gentle movement speed up healing noticeably.
